"Colors everywhere" promotes colour identification, colour mixing and visual perception. In "Adventures in art", children help Steve look for clues while mixing colours and making shape pictures. In "What does Blue want to play?" everyone is making something and children need to help Steve find Blue's clues to figure out what Blue wants to make.
